So, after yesterday I'm still realing a bit but I was thankful to dwell in the remarkable blessings we saw in today's reading. I think when we are walking in pain and confusion, it's important to recognize that right along with all of that comes God's blessings.
Adam and Eve failed. God didn't just share the negative consequences of that failure, sure he was honest about them, and then he blessed them. Sin brings death and insecurity. In the midst of that God blessed them with clothes, sex, and children...all blessings that allow us to move ahead in this dark and dangerous existance confident that at the same time we walk amongs God's glory, his presence, his power, his grace and his imeasurable blessings.
So, I know things are tough. But, how has God blessed you in the midst of your pain?
